personification of roma

This is a reproduction of a roman-era mosaic, first-second century CE. Called Personification of Roma it is one of 20 or so mosaics found in 1905 in Tunisia, later purchased by the Brooklyn museum.

It is a High Definition reproduction: the mosaic is the same size as the original. The stones as have all been cut the same size as the original, follow the same flow and they have been cut with the traditional hammer and chisel.
